Why Upgrade to 25 CFM?
Your abrasive blast cabinet’s performance depends on how much air and abrasive you propel at your surface. More air and abrasive means more work getting done and in most cases it gets done faster too.
Can I Upgrade?
That’s a good question. The most important factor in considering an upgrade is your air compressor’s ability to supply 25 CFM at 70-90 PSI. If your compressor cannot supply 25 CFM at 70-90 PSI you cannot upgrade to 25 CFM. It will not work.
How does the upgrade work?
If you already have a Cyclone cabinet, you’ll just have to disconnect your old components and put the new components in place. This typically takes a 1/2″ wrench and about 15 minutes of time.
If you don’t have a Cyclone cabinet, that’s OK too. Our air components are 1/4″ NPT and easy to install and adjust. With just a photo of your current setup we can get you going. And, don’t forget that your air compressor must be able to supply 25 CFM at 70-90 PSI.
What does the kit include?
This kit includes the parts necessary to upgrade your cabinet to a 25 CFM pedal operated blast system. It includes the following:
- 25 CFM Nozzle Holder
- 25 CFM Orifice
- 25 CFM Tungsten Carbide Nozzle
- 28″ Air hose with brass male 1/4″ NPT ends
- Pickup Tube
- Pickup Hose
