PT 100 SK Pressure Sandblaster
$1,107.00
If you already own an abrasive sandblasting cabinet, you can easily add a pressure blasting system with minimal effort. We include all you need to connect the pressure blaster to your existing cabinet.
You control the PT-100-SK (Side Kick), with a comfortable foot pedal. The tungsten carbide nozzle is powerful and consumes approximately 23 CFM @ 90-100 PSI.
A long 10′ sandblast hose allows tremendous flexibility when placing the unit. Also, if you want to use the “Side-Kick” as an external pressure blaster, you simply remove it from the cabinet and off you go. Two blasting systems in one!
Product images are shown with unit standing alone and connected to our 4224 blast cabinet. The 4224 blast cabinet is NOT included with the PT-100-SK.
Description
Pressure Sandblaster
If you already have a sandblasting cabinet but it is not powerful enough, consider the PT-100-SK. Sometimes the only answer to a tough abrasive blast situation is a pressure sandblaster option. This option is usually more expensive. Unless you consider the “Side-Kick”.
The PT-100 SK (Side-Kick) pressure pot sandblaster brings pressure power to an existing abrasive blasting cabinet. Included is a 10′ length of sandblasting hose that gives you more reach and fewer moves. Our pressure tanks are ASME certified. We include all the necessary components to connect this unit to an abrasive media or bead blast cabinet.
It’s very simple. We provide the components, you drill a small hole in your existing cabinet. The hose goes into the cabinet and you have a pressure blast cabinet.

Portable Sandblaster?
Although the unit is designed to sit next to your cabinet, the PT 100-SK comes with easy to roll solid rubber wheels. This makes positioning the unit within your work environment very easy. A long sandblast hose is also included so that you can put the pressure tank near or far from the blasting cabinet.
All sandblasters require an air supply, so be careful when searching for a “portable sandblaster”. We label ours portable because they are easy to roll and have a long hose. You still need to supply any portable unit with air. Our PT-100 and PT-100-SK pressure sandblasters have a 100 US Pound media capacity, so you can put it in place and easily move it on solid rubber wheels.
Pressure Sandblaster vs. Gravity Blasters
Pressure blasting is vastly different from a siphon fed abrasive blaster. A pressure pot sandblaster is given a supply of air. Then, when you are ready, the user opens a blasting valve. After opening the valve, the powerful stream of abrasives hits the target. Once in contact, the abrasives make quick work. Higher pressure done with a pressure sandblaster means higher velocity and faster cleaning, in most circumstances.
